    “You’re not doing anything wrong”

    Some people might pass this off as a dumb fun sci-fi film but it’s got more heart than 90% of films released these days. That bar scene with Reynolds & Garner had me weeping like a baby.

    “I am the shadows”

    Exceptional. A bit too broody/emo for it’s own good as I think it’ll alienate parts of the mainstream audience, even leaving me pretty cold towards the start but the films tone is something else. Right from the opening scene & Batman’s introduction, it was clear we were in for something special.     As someone who’s never played the game, this was a lot of fun. Holland & Wahlberg share excellent chemistry and their dynamic is the highlight of the film. Are they miscast? How the fuck should I know? I’ve never played the game and if they are miscast… I don’t really care.

    Despite it’s Last Jedi references, this is structured almost exactly like The Force Awakens. Which means Dewey is Han Solo and to be honest, Dewey’s death hit 10 times harder.
