    Incognito

    ★★½

I’m sure there’s someone out there that absolutely loves this movie, and it’s not horrible. I just wasn’t really that interested in it. I purchased a triple package on blu-ray that came with this, Diabolique (1996), and The In Crowd. That purchase was really only for The In Crowd because I’ve just always enjoyed that film. I would have likely never watched this if not for owning it.

  • Lucky Bastard

    Lucky Bastard

Pretty horrible film. A guy is invited to film for a porn site as a fan and then eventually loses it and goes on a murdering spree. The film is just way too long honestly and takes forever to get to anything really. It just meanders along and does nothing interesting.

Jason Mamoa was what made this film for me. I was entertained every minute he was on screen and his character was just batshit crazy. I overall liked the cliffhangers at the end to setup the next film, but the one character that showed up, I’m really unsure of how that happened, but I guess we will find out in the next movie.

  • BlackBerry

This movie was incredible. I was absolutely entertained throughout the entire film. Such an interesting story how BlackBerry came to be and then showing seemingly what lead to its fall. Jay Baruchel was great and Glenn Howerton was lightning in a bottle. Loved this.

About the same as the first. I definitely laughed a decent amount and thought it was fairly entertaining.

STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie

Had no idea Michael J Fox was a high school drop out and how his dad just took a chance and took him to California to fight for his dream. Really good documentary and well worth a watch.

I generally enjoy Robert Rodriguez films. I doubt he had much of a budget for this, but he still created a cool idea and story to me. I liked it.

  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

    ★★★★★

This is definitely my favorite Guardians of the Galaxy film. The film also made me cry 4 different times. What a perfect send off for the Guardians and this is definitely a top 5 MCU film for me. Can’t wait to see what James Gunn does with Superman: Legacy because I think he puts a ton of heart into his films and thinks a lot about the characters and world he’s building.

Old man John Wick killing nazis? I’ll take it. Lot of fun and cool action. The lead actor doesn’t even speak until the last minutes of the film, yet it works. Loved this.

  • Big George Foreman

    Big George Foreman

    ★★★★

I actually really enjoyed this film and there was also a lot I didn’t know about George Foreman. There was a weird part towards the end where they were showing real footage of a fight and they attempted to CGI the actors face over real George Foreman’s and it’s one of the worst CGI I’ve seen in recent memory. It makes no sense in this climate where we can legitimately deep fake anyone face over someone else’s, so I have…

  • Beau Is Afraid

    Beau Is Afraid

    ★★★★

This movie is absolutely insane and after it ended everybody just kind of sat in the theater because I’m sure all we could think was “what the fuck did I just watch”. I enjoyed the ride and experience. This movie would be a 10/10 for me if it was a little tighter. It just had no reason to be 3 hours and there was a lot of lingering in scenes that could have been cut out. The movie is crazy though and you have no idea what’s going on throughout, but I was never bored.

If there’s one thing I love, it’s Guy Ritchie films and this one is great also. There wasn’t a single thing in this film that I didn’t like. Powerful story and a lot of surprises along the way. Great action when it’s happening.
