A history of electronic dance music, with a heavy french influence told through the medium of dance and atmospheric dread. I found it the easiest of Noe's films to watch, it didn't give me a migraine or leave me feeling nauseous!
It's very minimal, there's a great dance routine to start the film and a talking heads segment in the middle, other than that we just follow the chaos as it unfolds.

    52 Years In 52 Weeks: 2020 Edition.
    HORRORx52 (2020 Edition)

    68/100

A coming of age movie that at times feels like it's heading down the X-Men origin route but instead delves far deeper into the conflicting battle between faith and science.
It darts around the horror genre without fully entering it and the conclusion is equally as non committal.

Sure this could have been much better than it ended up but I didn't think it was that bad. The worst thing really is the editing, there are some absolutely awful cuts, zooms and edits that try and mask the fact that the CG bats really aren't doing a lot. The close up bats, which I'm guessing were puppets were far better!

I'm not familiar with the source material but I still had fun with this teen horror anthology. There are a few weak segments that bring it down a little but still worth a watch.

This was a pleasant, fun surprise. I had low expectations with it being a McG film but I really enjoyed it.
It reminded me a lot of the movies I grew up on, like 'The Gate' & 'Fright Night'.

    Films Seen At The Cinema.

Sat in the cinema with my Force Awakens t-shirt, I was waiting for the rush of nostalgia to hit me (member, member chewbacca?).

It didn't come. I didn't feel the way I did when I saw Force Awakens.

It was still awesome to see Darth Vader, the Death Star, *insert spoiler here*, but I never really cared for these other characters, apart from the droid and Donnie Yen, because he's a legit bad ass.

    Maybe…
