this is actually crazy. i had no idea about this incident so i’m really glad netflix happens to have this movie in their catalogue. there are lots of people who love the idea of wearing a uniform that somehow excuses and justifies murder and brutality and torture. it’s actually sick how much they just love to kill for fun. talking more about technical aspects, carandiru’s pacing is immaculate and the storytelling could not have been done in a better way.…

the only reason i’m giving this movie one star instead of half a star is because kayla is a badass. other than that it’s just the same movie over and over again but a little bit more ridiculous each time. i love how these people think they’re the avengers or something and particularly how every time owen gets face to face with a dino that’s about to chomp him up he raises his hand like this ✋🏻 and it works! they don’t kill him! he’s onto something!!
