VFG31 • Day 25
Although this movie is incredibly tame by today's standards, it really defined a new generation of horror - this was THE movie at the time it came out, no matter how divided audiences were. I was 12 when I first saw this, and was terrified but watching it over a decade later, parts of it comes off as laughably bad. Still it's got a charm to it that makes it for a strangely comforting watch. Some of the scares still hold up really well, even if it's execution is pretty simple.
