  saw this in IMAX at the Chinese Theatre last night 

  Cinematography was so cool, all the night scenes, the light was 🤌🏾. I wish the CGI was a bit better in certain parts... namely the monkey. it took me a bit out of it in those moments. wasn’t crazy about the “final form” of the alien... in a design sense...specifically in its later stages... it could’ve been really freaky when we got to see it up close.. hence my CGI…

  no but why was my heart racing the entire time, maybe that’s the state i was already in when I walked into the afternoon showing of this film ... left the theatre thinking “i should try SSRIs” and “nothing matters” all at once. This is a positive review, I swear
