Very unsettling. The classical score, combined with imagery of large brutalist and modern architectures, creates an ethereal atmosphere, complimenting the said unsettling quality and dramatic fights. Has some spy film influences in some of the escape scene and the editing in the beginning of the con. This film also has a distinct Marxist undertone of class struggle and the isolation of the working class. The ending could also be interpreted as the working class's dead-end with no way out of the lower class life, fitting of South Korea's current economic-political situation.
