The Florida Project is such a stunning experience. It came through a lot in Tangerine but Sean Baker has a way of making his films so human and that was a big part of what's so great about this. He gives his characters and story this realism that's very subtle but it adds so much depth. A lot of what this film can be broken down to is living in poverty but how it portrays is from both the lens of children and adults is brilliant. All on this backdrop of an ultra American landscape where it take a setting you might bat an eye at on a road trip through the States and give sit so much life. Adding the dynamics between each character and the story it shows both pure joy and harsh struggle in life that very few films can match
