  Having a woke take on a Jody Hill/Seth Rogen joint from ten years ago is very dorky and extremely online, but this really does feel like a movie about toxic masculinity. Works largely because of its willingness to get extremely vile. The humor sometimes feels a little dated, but the depiction of thwarted macho bullshit feels very ahead of its time. Kind of weird to give Ronnie a happy ending.
