Mike LaPenta’s review published on Letterboxd:
After seeing a lot of middling reviews, my expectations were pretty low going in to this. But man, I really loved what Chloe Zhao gave us. Starting us off with Time by Pink Floyd and sneaking in Terrence Malick-esque sequences. Loved the existential feelings about humanity’s existence and the duty one feels to continue its course. It feels like a better version of Watchmen and Justice League, which makes me intrigued about what DC fans will think of it.
