    Just watched the infamous “tv cut” on the KL disc.  Truly insane.  No wonder Peter Hall sued Universal Pictures. They add about a half hour of nonsense involving Judy Geeson’s parole officer searching for her and getting info from Judy’s suffering mom and horrible stepdad. Plus Steiger’s boss at his office thinks about denying him a promotion because he’s heard a rumor that Rod is running around with a younger woman. All this goes absolutely no where.
