Miroslava Safránková Is incredibly compelling in this Czech coming of age story from 1974. You can’t take your eyes off her and the camera almost never does. She owns this film. I watched a non English subtitled version so cannot comment on the quality of the dialogue but the camera always seemed to be in the right place - great cinematography.
