Bloody Hell 2020
pretty great!! really like the structure with all the back and forth time-wise, really like the writing where things are consistently funny and the main character is very intriguing, and i REALLY like the performance of said main character by ben o'toole. bloke is ripped as hell. that part is unrelated just thought i'd mention it.

Daniel Isn't Real 2019
outstanding performances but especially so in miles robbins' case. very well written and conveys a real, horrible sense of futility in every action. great score and cinematography also. and by god, the special fx and makeup and prosthetics whatever you'd call it are unbelievable.

this should be framed as a horror movie if anything. she's fucking horrible. absolutely cruel, delusional and narcissistic. god forbid the boy you like is in love with a genuinely kind person!! the boy who is clearly apathetic to your existence by the way!!! this whole film just filled me with vitriol. and i get that she realised her wrongs at the end but she didn't even apologise to julia. this hurt to watch.

oh there was not a chance in HELL i wouldn't love this. best friends of 20 years from childhood that secretly yearn for one another???? one of them writes songs and the other takes photos???? are you fucking kidding me!!! almost melted just thinking about it. the pure affection i have for this goes deeper than the cavity that holds my pounding heart. i might be in love with han so-hee. also, mini han so-hee and yoon seo-ah reunion!! fucking awesome show.
