Wood’s review published on Letterboxd:
Taika Waititi is so good at making films it actually gives me hope that Thor Ragnarok could actually be a watchable marvel movie.
Even though this is based on a book, it's so very Taika. Every line delivered sounds like something he would say. Normally I don't like when the filmmakers project too much of themselves on the characters (Woody Allen). In this case I think it just adds to the charm of Sam Neill, Rima Te Wiata, and Julian Dennison already great performances. Cinematography so beautiful this could be taught in film school, Waititi on that gooood shit.
