Never seen Cage this athletic in a film before. I do find it weird that anyone ever let David Lynch make movies. Mix his wild dream like vibe with Nic Cage doing an Elvis caricature and you got something real special. Laura Dern is perfect as usual, and Willem Dafoe puts in those REAL creep hours. A pretty straight forward plot, but it wouldn't be Lynch without intertwining a bunch of surreal madness. It doesn't get any more ridiculous than Nic Cage singing through the credits role.
