there’s nothing better than revisiting a film from your childhood, especially when it’s as funny as this djsjsns

  • Stand by Me

    Stand by Me

the perfect example of a simple plot being made into something very special through excellent performances & story telling. despite never having had any experiences which are even remotely similar to walking along train tracks in search of a dead body at 12 years old, there’s something sweetly nostalgic about this film, it feels like a warm embrace :)

the final scenes were unbelievably beautiful. definitely Tortellini’s best work !

I mean what else can I say?? nothing satisfies the mind like seeing hundreds of Nazis die

  • Vox Lux

    Vox Lux

I have to admit that I didn’t fall in love with this film as I thought I would the first time I watched the trailer, but it had some extremely touching moments and the depth of Celeste’s character  is something to be applauded

  • Mary Queen of Scots

    Mary Queen of Scots

omfg this may be because I’m a slut for history (even though this was far from historically accurate) but I enjoyed this so much.. like even more than The F*v**r*te... PLEASE don’t hate me I’m fragile

anyway this was absolutely SNUBBED by almost every single awards show, I mean come on! even if people didn’t think the film was that great (which surprised me so much to find out), Saoirse’s performance can’t be faulted

5/5. would be willing to rewatch again literally 10 minutes after finishing <3
