Gorgeous, close, lengthy shots build a sense of intimacy throughout, but especially in the devastating opening single take. It fell off for me just a touch during the courtroom speech, which felt very scripty in an otherwise lifelike film about the long process of grief and healing.
Vanessa Kirby & Ellen Burstyn are amazing in this.
