Leon Brill 👽’s review published on Letterboxd:
Almost wholly different from the original, Suspiria crafts a truly bewitching experience. While scenes will often play out and the purpose of a given storyline is either saved to the near end or never revealed, there’s a true mastery of the filmmaking craft here. Some of the camera work is truly unique, but largely without the colorful cinematography of the original— save for the wild ending.
Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton’s performances ultimately carry the film, bringing tension and allure to every scene they’re in.
