Jaws

Jaws ★★★★★

This motion picture was crafted and released in 1975, and it's one of the most terrifying, and effective movies ever made.

Without a doubt, close to being Steven Spielberg's magnum opus, he crafted genuine fear and tension, with effective, tight filmmaking and better, unexpected jumpscares that work better than the majority of modern horror movies. Even in broad daylight, no one's safe.

Roy Schnider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss make for a dynamic trio, with excellent performances, as they team up to try to defeat the shark, and John Williams' iconic score beautifully holds up.

Lastly, the Blu-ray transfer is gorgeous, as the bright scenery really pops out (it also marks my first BD purchase, since 2017!)
