Leonora Anne Mint’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is a Bad Lesbian Movie through and through but it gets more credit than most do because it's clearly trying its best.
The actors aren't very good, the script is wooden, and the thankless boyfriend/husband character is ever worse and more rote here than usual.
All that said, this movie is also cute, very neon, gives its characters halfway-plausible backstories that increased my interest in their relationship, and most importantly, the sex scenes here are shot with an eye very different from what we're seeing from cishet men who direct similar movies. The sensual-but-not-cloying frankness of these scenes is definitely refreshing.
Make no mistake, this is a low-grade cheesy lesbian film where watching cute ladies fuck is the top priority. It is, though, arguably one of the classiest entries in that genre.
