People being People

Of all the films in this world, there is one kind of film that has and always will interest me: the film that simply observes a person's life rather than seeking for fully fleshed three-act structures in such complex life stories. This doesn't mean, of course, that nothing can or will happen. It just isn't the main focus. The real focus is just to see the most realistic kind of fiction, where nothing is supposed to happen but stuff just happens... because life. (Now how 'bout that...)
If you know any other films that fit into this very vaguely defined "genre", please tell me!
