    My First Summer


    We need more strawberry milk!

    Dogtooth but centered around a sweet, innocent, lovely queer relationship. This was honestly such a beautiful film that I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. I think it is an overall good representation of teenage love and queer relationships, it's also very genuine, sweet, and comforting. Warmly recommended.

    I don't know how I was able to enjoy this draining, bleak, dreary film as much as I did. The atmosphere in this is unlike anything I've seen. It is hopeless, dark, suffocating, depressing, yet manages to be so mesmerising and dreamlike at the same time. Despair, love, blood, filth, the sound of war, the sound of waves...

    My first viewing (also my first Wajda) but I can't wait to see it again for a second time already. A wonderful experience.
