This film is relatable because I, too, would run through an entire building to find Kento Yamazaki.
Seriously though, this is an incredibly warm and beautiful story. I was not familiar with the anime or the manga before watching but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. If it weren’t for the fact that people were in the room while I was watching this I would have bawled my eyes out! The score for this film has to be the standout (other than Kento himself, obvs.)
Another film I watched for my Asian Cinema class this week! I was really excited for this one as I’ve been meaning to watch a live action of Mulan for years - however this was pretty melodramatic, hammy and overall just poorly constructed.
