Dream scenario stressed me out. This was directed by Kristoffer Borgli, director of “Sick of myself” which released in 2023 in the US so I count it as one of my Favorite movies of the year and to hear that he’s teaming up with Nic Cage in an absurd dark comedy, I was ready. However similar to sick of myself, this movie leaves you with pessimism. Throughout pretty much every technical aspect, it really a brings you into this midlife crisis…

Five Nights at Freddy's 2023
None of this makes any sense. My gf never seen it and somehow convinced me to watch it with her. I posted a review on IG when this first came out and I got destroyed for giving it a 3/10. Yea I was being nice the first time, this is atrocious. 2/10

May December 2023
Fantastic movie. Every technical aspect is so fully realized. The acting, each shot, how they use the music to the movies strengths, the choices these characters make only adds to the story and it always feels necessary. Each scene ends right where it needs to. Perfect pace and editing. The very dark themes never feel like it’s leaning to be overly dramatic. The movie allows you to think for yourself. Everything about this was incredible and it may move to a 5/5 in years to come.
Top 5 of 2023. -

Matt Rife: Natural Selection 2023
I really love Matt Rife’s crowd work on TikTok and I wanted this to be Good but it was honestly really rough, I’m sorry, I’m a fan but this wasn’t funny to me.

Poisoned: The Dirty Truth About Your Food 2023
Very much informative, sure but this one of the most boring documentaries that I’ve seen all year in terms of editing, music and all other technical aspects.
