This movie appeals to both my desire to deconstruct lovecraftian approaches to storytelling as well as my desire to see Robert Pattinson pitch a huge drunken fit, so it's pretty much a perfect movie

I enjoyed how low key this was, in comparison to my sort of imagined version of it. I think it raises a lot of interesting questions but I'm not sure how well it answers them. I may like it more if I come back to it later.
