Saw this in the theater when it released. Liked it then, like it now. Eddie Murphy is great as always, but especially works well for this movie because he’s so expressive with his face, as he’s always been. The script is nothing special, but it’s cozy and funny enough that its a wonderful time throughout. Nothing more, I suppose. I’ll just never understand the universal hate this film gets. Just chalk this one up as another one of the films that I like that no one else does. That list is long.
I’m starting to feel like Armond White.
