an intoxicating tour de force with complexity, sadism and elegance exquisitely stitched into every piece of it. an experience like this could only be tailored in the mind of paul thomas anderson. this is his magnum opus when it comes to the technical aspects. visually stunning and sonically rich. your eyes will be entranced by every single shot and your ears well be pleased by every single sound. daniel day-lewis is as bold as ever, lesley manville is a work of art and vicky krieps is spell-binding. what a film!
