I don't do ratings
A wonderful portrait of a man betwixt the intersection of fashion and photography. Bill Cunningham's an interesting man to say the least
A little ridiculous of a plot. Everything is drawn so thin, though I must admit its action sequences are incredibly compelling.
I can't help myself but rewatch this whenever I'm in the mood, which is much too often. This film never fails to lift my spirits. There is so much warmth to this film, and I'll never get tired of Gerwig's screenplay. The chemistry between the cast is intoxicating and each performance is wonderful, though Emma Watson's accent doesn't quite hit the mark. It's one of my favourites, and I can't wait to watch this for the rest of my life.
A dreamy, sensuous haze of unfulfilled romances that is masterfully composed. I loved this and I would probably have cried if I wasn't watching this in the cinema. We shift from character to character yet every story remains interesting. And Christopher Doyle's cinematography- I just want my whole life to look like this.
Warm, soft, and calm yet imbued with a permeating, pensive sadness, this is one of Wong Kar-Wai's best.
