The Boys 2021
Using this to review Amazon’s The Boys TV show since it feels good enough to add to letterboxd. The first two seasons were pretty good, but the third really blows it out of the water and perfects the “realistic/evil superhero” genre. Compelling plot, pretty good acting and well written characters combine with gratuitous and inexorably fun action. This show is just on the nose enough to be relevant but doesn’t shove it down your throat, definitely worth the watch.
