    When I took my little sister to see this, I didn’t expect much. But ended up being surprised with the direction in which the writers handled a freaken Dora The Explorer movie in 2019. 

    Dora herself, played by Isabela Moner, is great to watch. As she’s basically the same cartoon character we know and love, thrown into the real world, which isn’t quite as friendly as we remember it being back when we were 8.…

    Everything Must Go


    It’s sad that this movie isn’t as well known as it should be. And though film is a passion of mine, I would have heard of this movie if not for my college English professor throwing it on for the whole class. 

    Like Adam Sandler in Uncut Gems or Robin Williams in 'Good Will Hunting', this movie stars Will Ferrel in a much more serious and dramatic role than his typical type of movie.

Like their mind works and spins in a way that a normal persons just never could. & translating their thoughts onto a script and then eventually on a screen is, quite simply, the only way that person can stay sane. 

    Bong Joon-ho is one of those people.

    “The Farewell” was a beautiful film. Heartfelt and very touching yet also funny. 

    Being totally immersed and invested in a culture other than my own speaks to the power of filmmaking and why movies are so important. You can tell this movie had a point. It was trying to say something. And the way it was able to mix comedic timing with such a serious subject matter is no easy feat.
