    Better at being a com than a rom, but REALLY good at it. The Asian-American jokes are so funny and they wrote the two main characters with so much Asian-American complexity. Now this is what representation feels like. Absolutely loved watching this with my parents.

    Compared to Striking Vipers, which I think was lacking because it was too focused on its Black Mirror-ity, I like how Smithereens put its protagonists’ psyche at the forefront. Loved it for this, actually, though it still is less story-centric than it is character-centric.     You know what? If yall didn't like this yall don't know how to have fun. It's a lot different but not unacceptable - The Last Jedi strays a little too far but in the right direction.

    It's been a day after I saw this. I deadass stayed up until 4 am this morning solely because I couldn't stop thinking about this damn movie. Man what even is The Last Jedi?! And now 24 hours later I'm STILL in shock?! And I can't talk to anyone about it because spoilers?! Star Wars owns my ass!
