my high school experience was nothing like lady bird's, but i still feel nostalgic about it after watching this movie. i relate to having an incredibly rocky relationship with my mom. i relate to the feeling of having a first relationship and then the eventual heartbreak after it ends. i relate to falling for a guy in a band who turns out to be a prick. i relate to feeling like i lost my virginity to the wrong boy. i relate to the stress of money and the whole college process. this movie just strikes such a chord with me, i wish i lived in it
