Come healing of the mind‘The Farewell is really good but maybe I’m biased because I like the main character am also an Asian person who grew up abroad and try to navigate my double identity’ — I said while trying to describe this movie. Today I took my friend with me to a Vietnamese market and instead of explaining why people bought fake paper money I made her watch The Farewell. The first sentence is not connected to the second. I just love this movie SO MUCH. 🥺

And Then We Danced 2019
i took myself out to watch a movie for the first time in a while. just me, a few strangers in a dark room. what an experience! and then we danced was a perfect choice. it’s so beautiful and warm. i did a little cry during the screening and did a little cry during a walk home thinking about how beautiful this movies was. perfect for when you are feeling a bit lost and anxious about uncertainties of the future…
