ABBA has always been a guilty pleasure of mine so it's not surprising that I find Mamma Mia! enjoyable despite being completely aware on how terribly cheesy the plot was and how terrible some of the singing voices were.
But really, I don't watch this for the plot. I watch this because I love ABBA, Meryl Streep, and Amanda Seyfried.
The entire film is basically just a cinematic equivalent of your drunk uncles and aunts singing ABBA songs on karaoke night. It's supposed to be cheesy and cringy... and I'm okay with it!
