Messy, but in a glorious sort of way, M3GAN whiplashes between attempting meaningful commentary on family and our relationships with technology to meme-able scenes of singing, dancing and violence. Perfect Frightfest fare destined to become a cult classic - and rightfully so.

It starts promisingly, but Fantasic Four quickly descends into lazy dialogue, trailing plot points that don't lead anywhere, narrative decisions lacking reason or logic and a finale that comes out of nowhere and ends just as quickly.

Let out a long sigh of relief: the new Ghostbusters is good. In fact, it's better than good - but a few duff jokes and the loss of its madcap energy towards its close stop it becoming great.
