There are 40 minutes left.
Poor Jonnie is taking one for the team, watching the rest.
I may go back, but really, I've had it up to here with this tale of the egocentric narcissistic "genius in his own mind" who read too much Ayn Rand and expects everything to go his way, while condescending to the two women in his life.
Nicely shot, overly-dramatic score, and good performances, I suppose, but zero points for writing (boy some of that dialogue is crazy stupid) and zero points for story.
Ok, now that I've had a time-out, I'll go watch the rest, and if it gets better I'll change my rating.
Edit. Well, I watched the rest. Got to see the staring contest. PTA loves those, doesn't he? Wasn't there a long one in The Master as well? Rating stands.
