An incredibly moving, deeply human, epic masterpiece that recounts the story of a family who loses their son from the 1980s to present day China.
This may be the best film I have ever watched - all the performances were incredible, the non-linear narrative is tightly controlled and information is shown and not told to us. This film is realism at its finest.
