Lizy’s review published on Letterboxd:
So you know every aimless plotless movie that tries to be a slice of life and then wrap everything up at the end? They want to be this movie. By showing everything through the kids' perspectives, usually Moonee's, you get a vague distance from the plot. You're able to piece together what Moonee can't, and sometimes you wish you were still as innocent as she is.
Also can I just say I am beyond impressed with this new generation of actors we're seeing? Brooklynn Prince, Jacob Tremblay, the Stranger Things kids, the It kids, we are seeing absolute stars in the making.
