Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter 1984
I really want Jason to kill me. Honestly, there are plenty of other serial slashers I would employ to do the job. But Voorhees is here and in my playlist for the last 4 films, so he's my choice because I just want it done now.

Friday the 13th Part III 1982
The pace is agonizingly sluggish in the first fifteen minutes. Numerous restarts were necessary because I kept falling asleep. I'm not trying to spout too much trash, as I've just been exhausted in general lately as a result of my downward spiral through a rabbit hole of misery. The opening scenes just did little to nothing to improve the situation.

The final half-hour of this movie is among the most exciting ending sequences in a slasher. The musical score amplifies this tenfold, adding an additional layer of tension. I remember being a kid; even my mom got into it at the end, and she despises horror films.
