Luke James Human’s review published on Letterboxd:
The legacy carried a lot of this for me.
There's some great set pieces in the first half that washed the taste of Spectre out my mouth and the villainous plan is one of the all time great evil plots but it was overshadowed by the interpersonal elements of the story.
Craig does not disappoint and as well as the returning cast there are some likeable additions which are all extremely welcome. It shows how far the franchise has come when the dramatic interactions outshine any action and the humour is all too sparse.
The issues begin with those closest to bond and end with an uninspiring villain and a bloated runtime.
Despite a committed conclusion I still wish this iteration had ended with Skyfall.
