funny, nasty and dramatic... a pinnacle of queer art & cinema. it's a pain to seek this movie out, but if you can get your hands on a copy to watch... it is must see for anyone who considers themselves a cinema fan. john waters is a genius; a psychotic, weird, deranged genius. the best of the best. FILTH!
"it's a good lie."
my stomach hurts & my chest feels a rubber band ball that someone won't stop adding bands to. this film managed to be terribly heartbreaking and yet still so warm. i felt safe watching it, like i was a a part of the family. i saw my own family members in the characters. truly touching, never really seen anything like it.
