Over time this list may be dated and not match my current opinion. And after this list gets piled up with films, I will most of the time need to put a film somewhere in the middle of my list, in which it won’t affect the top best or worst. And when I do so, I usually think about where it will go for a short period of time, put it there, and never touch it again. The middle of the list is just to help me decide where the best and worst films go. So if you’re going to pay any attention to the placement of films, do it to the top and the bottom of the list.
