    The Demons

Childhood can be scary. When you’re at that delicate pre-teen age, nearing puberty, you become consumed by fear of the unknown. Everything is new, exciting, and terrifying. Many things give you anxiety, depending on your own personal fears sensitivities. And you observe others in attempt learn about teenage life and adulthood; where you’re headed; what you perceive real life to be. It’s a very confusing time in your life. The world seems huge. Too big to fully comprehend all that…

This is hands down the best movie I've seen so far in 2020. Possibly the best film in years. This is everything I look for in film and hope it will be, and I'm usually let down. I felt so many different emotions throughout this beautiful film. I laughed, I smiled a lot, I cried, and when it was over I sat and thought deeply about my own life and how amazing and delicate it is, even during these ugly…

Currently busy being blown away by this devastating, beautiful film; a true masterclass in both acting and directing. There were so many jaw dropping scenes in this, particularly the much talked about opening one-take sequence. Unnecessary side note: me being a weird stickler to these type of details, I feel I should point out that the movie doesn't open with a 30 minute long take, as others have said, there are about three individual scenes that appear prior, and then…

Despite my low rating for this, I'd like to give credit to all the actors and filmmakers involved. I will never trash a movie outright if it has redeeming elements. So, I'll start with the good: this film looks great; it doesn't feel low budget (though I imagine it is). The actors do a great job and give solid performances. And the director etc does a superb job filming the entire movie in a tight space (inside one car).

American Murder: The Family Next Door

This is a hard one to rate or click "like" on, because the story is brutal and so disturbing, but it was put together very well, so...

First of all, fuck Chris Watts. Dude really murdered his pregnant wife and two adorable daughters (age 3 and 4 I believe) so that he could live happily ever after with his side piece.

I had seen a lot of this footage already on Youtube. I can't remember any other investigation/missing person/murder case…

Hands down one of the best, if not the best suspense thriller of 2020. This film really surprised me, and is far better than I would have though. I expected a run of the mill “woman on a road trip gets stalked by a serial killer cat and mouse game,” as most of these types of movies are, but this is anything but run of the mill, and it avoids cliche’s at every turn.

The synopsis tells you everything you…
