John Wick: Chapter 4 2023
An incredible action movie that uses every single one of its set pieces to its fullest potential. It’s a film that never runs out of steam, even during its more quieter moments. The impending feeling that a fight will break out at any point adds a lot of tension to the film, even if a fight breaking out is still going to happen.
I also gotta say I found the new characters very fun here. A special mention goes out…

Léon: The Professional 1994
You’d expect Oldman’s performance to be distracting, but he does such a great job, and if anything I think the over the top nature of the character really fits the film.
