I’m so glad it’s a German movie.
One of the best film 2022 had to offer.
The viewers are literally taken into the trenches to the point of acquiring trench foot. It is a brutally honest depiction of war and the stupidity that fuels it all. The wound of the conflict feels completely raw and painful.

All that butchery, all that hostility, all that misery—
And in the end, For what?
Nothing.
