Spectral is so close to being so good, honestly. To be fair, it's a magnet for cliché, the lead performer looks like he still can't get over the fact that he's in the movie, and in its attempts to seem the gritty sci-fi thriller, it over-corrected itself into a needlessly dark and hideous film.
