Joanna Hogg built a direct portal to my mid-20s spent dating a surly, troubled Englishman. A meditation on making, attraction, forces of sensitivity. Dreamy fragments that drift into cohesion with cruelty and tenderness. It’s a nice place to visit but I’m so glad I don’t live there anymore. You take what survives.
