    Death Note

Yes I know fucking strange it is to be rating this a 3 out of 10 while giving the live action Netflix movie a 5 out of 10. And yes I am very disappointed that's how my journey through Death Note ended.

I remember seeing the first episode of Death Note when it was airing on TV when I was 9 or so. It scared the shit out of me and I wanted nothing to do with it. Early in…

Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob

    Video Review

Sword and the Scoob rules. Loved Nick Frost as Merlin. The humor is substantially better than in Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo and I really like the storyline in this movie. I could have used some more iconic Scooby and Shaggy moments, but overall I LOVE Scooby-Doo and I really enjoyed this movie.

    Year: 2021 Ranked

A gorgeous film that I wasn't necessarily expecting to love. But Pixars choice to keep this small scape and low risk was what made me enjoy it so much.

The leads are all fun and well voiced, the cat is AWESOME, the antagonist is hilariously bad at everything, and the emotional high points and low points of the film are executed flawlessly. Wasn't expecting much but I really really enjoyed Luca.

Really love Jarmusch's aesthetic and watching the first section of the film, was fully prepared to love the film. This was before I knew it was anthology film, and I was a bit saddened when we left our first story.

The rest of the movie is still good, but nothing beats the first story. And the second one is probably the weakest, so the sudden drop in quality definitely messes with the pacing of everything. Still a highly enjoyable endeavor…

    Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones

    2019 Ranked

Maybe it is the fact that I am not an edgy teenager anymore, but being controversial and edgy for the sake of being edgy or as some convoluted attempt at humor isn't funny to me. And that is all this comedy special is. Dave Chappelle says something controversial or just really fucking shitty and people laugh. It isn't ever even a joke. Instead he just pretty much says "I don't like trans people" to thunderous applause.

    He jokes…

    Series: Scooby-Doo Ranked

Now I haven't seen EVERYTHING Scooby-Doo related yet, but I am pretty well versed in the series. I have watched 99% of the movies, have seen three or four of the series, and have read extensively on the lore (yes there is Scooby lore and it's amazing). Going into this film I was very scared. Scooby-Doo is one of my all time favorite media franchises, and the outlook for this was not looking good. I went into…
