    Thor: Love and Thunder

From the very beginning of Waititi's career his films have showcased overcoming great sorrow or emotional turmoil through the use of comedy and a child-like nonsensicalness. Two Cars, One Night is such an interesting example of a short film because it has all the usual Waititi flair in such a short amount of time. I don't find that or Tama Tū, another of his early short film works, to be particularly astounding or high marks in New Zealand cinema, but…

Bone is an interesting look at racial tensions, sexualization of black men, and the fetishization of inequality. I think a film approaching this is great and worthwhile of my time, but Bone just didn't quite click with me. As a dark comedy I think it just isn't very funny, and as a critique on the handlings of race it feels bare bones and rudimentary. I wouldn't say it's a bad movie, and I think the ending is just terrific, but it just doesn't quite hit the nail on the head on most of the things it tries to accomplish.

Just fucking despicable. It's fucking awful in every conceivable way, but there is emperical proof that these types of propaganda films have actively hurt humanity. Fucking this movie. 0/10. Worst thing ever. I fucking hate it. Actually evil.

Maybe it is the fact that I am not an edgy teenager anymore, but being controversial and edgy for the sake of being edgy or as some convoluted attempt at humor isn't funny to me. And that is all this comedy special is. Dave Chappelle says something controversial or just really fucking shitty and people laugh. It isn't ever even a joke. Instead he just pretty much says "I don't like trans people" to thunderous applause.

    He jokes…

    Series: Scooby-Doo Ranked

Now I haven't seen EVERYTHING Scooby-Doo related yet, but I am pretty well versed in the series. I have watched 99% of the movies, have seen three or four of the series, and have read extensively on the lore (yes there is Scooby lore and it's amazing). Going into this film I was very scared. Scooby-Doo is one of my all time favorite media franchises, and the outlook for this was not looking good. I went into…
