London’s review published on Letterboxd:
Visually, The Holy Mountain is one of my favorite films. There are So many incredible sets and so much work put into them. Every single set, no matter how bizarre, is populated with items and people and feels lived in. Never has something felt so absurd and realistic at the same time. Teetering between the real and the imaginary, The Holy Mountain truly is a film showcases every part of a persons imagination.
Showing this movie to people is fantastic, and I had a blast rewatching it. Being able to more closely examine each scene led me to seeing everything in so much more detail, making the experience even better.
And the ending of the film might be the best ending ever recorded. I go back and forth in my mind on whether I like this or Santa Sangre more, but both are legendary and you should watch them.
