This was decent. For a short set in this world that is. It came out of nowhere too. I just heard about this not long ago. I'm not sure if it's the case for everyone else. But it made sure I went into this pretty blind.
Even though it's not really good or anything. I would say that it is still arguably better than the last film. It actually had some very impressive visuals and good tension. But not enough that I cared too much.
Keeping in mind though; this is only a short film. Because that's the case. I had fun with this. It got me slightly more interested or I guess excited for the next film in cinemas. I want to see this expanded on even more.
I have been very nervous for this third film ever since the last one; even with that ending. But I think doing something like this to add to the inevitable marketing campaign for the third film is a great idea.
They've given us a feel of what to expect from the next film, and I like what I'm feeling. I was impressed to see Colin Trevorrow directed this too. I can only hope that he can deliver on the promises this has made.
