Life is suffering. That feels eternal. But it doesn't need to be. It's never really the end. I was excited for this. I enjoyed the first two. I needed to see Keanu Reeves return as John Wick. Because he kicks ass in this role.
These are not your typical action movies. They can be that for you. Nothing wrong with that at all. But it isn't the case for myself. Because they've taken this genre to new heights on a worldwide scale.
It's safe to say too: this might be the best one yet. I felt every punch. I felt every bullet. I felt every death. I felt the impact of almost everything that was happening - and it was completely relentless from start to finish.
This film takes the emotion and brutality from the first two films to new levels in this one. I will need to let it sink in more. I need to think about it. But this was an excellent third chapter in this action saga.
He's not a great actor either. But it needs to be said. Keanu Reeves is a champion - on and off screen - but particularly with this role. He's as dedicated as he's ever been and you can tell. He gave it his all for this.
If you enjoyed the first two films, I think you will love this one. I'm excited to see them explore this character and world even more in the future. It is so rich, it has scenes that stick with me, but even lines.
I started this review with Life is Suffering. I loved that line. It's relatable. But with that being said. This film will take away some of that and give it to others for you to enjoy. It's a blood bath of a good time. I loved this.
